Jiggins Lane Medical Centre

PPG (Patient Participation Group)

Our PPG meetings are held every 6-8 weeks on a Tuesday morning. These are informal meetings and you work closely with your Practice.

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) works in partnership with Jiggins Lane Medical Centre to:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and quality of care
  • Foster improved communication between the practice and patients
  • Provide practical support for the practice and help implement change
  • Help patients to take more responsibility for their health.

Join our Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Are you interested in how your health centre is run and what services it provides?

We are currently looking for new members to join our Patient Participation Group (also called PPG) here at Jiggins Medical Centre.  The PPG is a group of patients who meet with practice staff during the year to discuss how our patients view the practice’s performance and to discuss what plans we put in place to improve our performance. The group is also contacted during the year if specific views are sought on various topics from the group.

It is not an onerous task but allows you to understand better how a GP practice operates and gives you an opportunity to have a say on how the practice performs.

If you would like to join the group or would like to find out more about being a member, then please contact our Practice Manager, Katie Moore on:

  • Tel: 0121 477 7272

Patient Participation Group Form

If you are interested in supporting the PPG, please fill in the sign up form below. We have a patient representation group so that you can have your say. We ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
